April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress, model and performer. The actress was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actor best known as Stacy Barrett on the American drama/comedy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. She started her career with modeling before moving into films and television shows. As an extra, she began her screen debut on the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In the following years her breakout role as Kandi was a part of Two and a Half Men. Bowlby has gained worldwide recognition for her role as Stacy Barrett, in the popular series Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby portrayed Rita Farr/Elastigirl on Titans, an American online series Titans. The character she played will be featured in a upcoming spinoff of Doom Patrol. Bowlby is also well-known for her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) and The Wrong Daughter. Alongside All Roads Lead Home she appeared on The Slammin Salmon, From Prada to Nada and other film. She moved there in her early years. After completing ballet classes as well as French at Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to enter the acting field. She studied drama at Ivanachubbuck, and was offered the role in the major television series (Kandi) in just a few months following an audition in Hollywood audition. Bowlby has appeared as a guest on a number of TV series like CSI: NY which featured Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. She also appeared as Meg in How I Met Your Mother. More recently Bowlby took on the role as Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a 2007 movie about a 12 year old girl who lost her mother in a car crash. Bowlby is set to play Mia the main character as well in The Slammin Salmon (2008). Los Angeles is her home. Her hair is naturally red, and blue eye color. She's a single mother who has no children.
