Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actor best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions until she made it famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. In 1957, she also made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise made her debut on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic released in 1958. She played Griselda who was a character from the movie. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway and Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as an effective television director in several series including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. She spent her childhood there and her adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
